High School Grants
Get involved in the High School Grant Program!
This year, your school will receive a $1000.00 grant for student-led health action. The grant program is designed to help you:
- Have fun and meet new people
- Work on issues that you feel are important in your school
- Increase your leadership, advocacy and critical thinking skills
- Develop your resume for school or work
If you are interested in getting involved take these steps:
- Find out if your school has a Health Action Team by talking to your Guidance Counselor, Principal Or School Public Health Nurse
- Write the meeting date, time and room number in your agenda
- Attend the meeting
