High School Grants

Get involved in the High School Grant Program!

This year, your school will receive a $1000.00 grant for student-led health action.  The grant program is designed to help you:

  • Have fun and meet new people
  • Work on issues that you feel are important in your school
  • Increase your leadership, advocacy and critical thinking skills
  • Develop your resume for school or work

If you are interested in getting involved take these steps:

  1. Find out if your school has a Health Action Team by talking to your Guidance Counselor, Principal Or School Public Health Nurse 
  2. Write the meeting date, time and room number in your agenda
  3. Attend the meeting
